Major service groups include: Administrative Service Group, which oversees training, crime analysis and communications Investigative Service Group, which includes all felony investigative units two Field Service Groups that oversee field officers and Special Service Group, which oversees the special operations bureau and lab and evidence bureau. The Office of the Chief of Police consists of five deputy chiefs who lead major service groups.
